DEGTHAI began in Nashville in 2011 as a Thai street-food truck founded by Jirapong “Jay” Jenratha. What started on four wheels grew through a love of Thai food and the support of our community.

Our food is personal: the dishes we love, the flavors we grew up with, and the kind of meal we’re happy to share. Thank you for being part of our story.

The DEGTHAI brand

Degthai LLC owns the DEGTHAI brand, name, and logo. The restaurants using the DEGTHAI name are operated by separate businesses; Degthai LLC does not operate all three.

Our original Nolensville Pike restaurant

The original DEGTHAI restaurant at 3025 Nolensville Pike remains part of our brand’s history. It is now independently owned and operated, with permission to use the DEGTHAI name and logo at that location.
